This order generation uses versatile algorithms to adapt to various situations, such as optimising production or minimising inventory. Factors such as customer demand or orders at different time intervals are considered. In addition, the system allows the generation of various data sets and “what if” scenarios to evaluate production more efficiently, adjusting batches, reducing safety inventory and grouping sales needs according to customers or products.

The MRPII Module considers in purchasing management not only the production needs, but also the available stock, avoids out-of-date products and plans future purchases to avoid duplication. Additional criteria can be configured, such as alternative suppliers and supply priorities, as well as deciding whether to base it on the proposed production date or the actual planned date. These criteria are taken into account in the purchasing algorithms.
